Live Performances

Rock-n-roll in it’s purest form is unpredictable, reckless and most of all fun. Three words that best describe a live performance delivered by John Vento and The Nied’s Hotel Band. Vento’s antics often lead the band into uncharted territory. Set lists change on a whim, once defined arrangements turn into extended jams, and new (though temporary) band members are often plucked right out of the audience. One thing is certain, when Vento takes the stage, absolutely nothing goes as planned. His strong bluesy voice is only overshadowed by his passion and commitment to entertain each and every member of the audience.

The Nied’s Hotel Band is anchored by an incredibly powerful rhythm section featuring Ron Beitle (drums) and Russ Oblinger (bass guitar). These guys have played together in bands since childhood.  Lead guitarist Stephen Christopher brings the edge that every great rock-n-roll band has to have.  His chops are strong and his sound is thick, yet distinctive. Sax man Carmen Petote rounds out a solid line up that prides itself on delivering great shows each and every night. With new addition Joe Birch (acoustic guitar & banjo) hitting those high vocal harmony parts that most folks can’t even touch, The Nied’s Hotel Band is the real deal!
